2.4 mm connectors are precision threaded connectors designed to perform to 50 GHz. The 2.4mm interface is designed so that the outer body engages before the center contacts to prevent damage to the center contacts. The 2.4mm connectors robust mating interface and thread coupling design provides excellent isolation and durability. The 2.4mm connector series is mechanically compatible with the 1.85mm "V" connector series.
