Koaxis designed Type N plugs feature non slotted stainless outer contacts which extends frequency ranges to 18 GHz and provides excellent RF isolation. Other manufacturer’s Type N connector plugs with slotted outer contact designs have limited frequency ranges to 11 GHz and the slots provide a path for RF leakage.
